Drear Cliff RP

SETTING

The sky is grey and the atmosphere up on Drear Cliff is chilling. Yet some Pokemon still make this place a sanctuary on occasion; after all, there are tiny purple flowers resembling forget-me-nots here, dotted around sparsely; so life can go on even in such a dismal place.
The cliff is the summit of a relatively small mountain - barely an oversized hill, if anything - surrounded by a vast expanse of moorland. The occasional scraggy, lightning-blackened tree dots the landscape, but on the very edge of Drear Cliff sits a huge tree. This time of year, it isn't flowering, and the branches are bare; but it serves as a great lookout, provided you can clear the Murkrow first.
The ground underfoot is gravelly and grey apart from the rare flowers, which become more and more scarce the further down you go along the winding path spiralling all the way down the mountainside.

Weaver dug his claws into the tree bark and managed to secure himself a seat on a more sturdy branch about halfway up the tree. A Murkrow eyed him with a look of irritation, but let him be. Apparently the Murkrow here didn't hunt on their home turf, which was lucky for him. He didn't enjoy fighting. Not that he'd admit that unless he was going to be found out anyway; he had a brilliant poker-face and making a show of how bad he was at anything was not one of his favoured activities. For now, however, he merely sat quietly and tried not to provoke the bird Pokemon. It had taken him a while to get up here, but he liked the atmosphere.
